14 KIMA Member Institutions Designated as Outstanding Medical Tourism Facilitators by the Ministry of Justice in 2026

Fourteen member institutions of the Korea International Medical Association (KIMA) have been designated as "Outstanding Medical Tourism Facilitators for 2026" by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea.

On September 21, 2026, the Ministry of Justice announced the designation results through Official Notice No. 2026-413.

The following 14 KIMA member institutions were included in the designation:

1. Korea Medical Institute (KMI), Gangnam Branch

2. JK Plastic Surgery

3. VIP Plastic Surgery

4. Girin Plastic Surgery

5. Samsung Medical Center

6. ID Hospital

7. AB Plastic Surgery

8. Incheon Sejong Hospital

9. DM Dermatology

10. Ruby Plastic Surgery

11. Lienjang Plastic Surgery

12. Hangil Eye Hospital

13. Hanyang University Hospital

14. Hyundai Hospital

The designation is valid for one year, from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027.

The Outstanding Medical Tourism Facilitator designation program is operated by the Ministry of Justice to promote medical tourism and enhance the reliability of institutions involved in attracting international patients.

Designated institutions are eligible for certain visa-related benefits, including procedures that facilitate electronic visa applications for international patients traveling to Korea for medical purposes.

KIMA will continue its efforts to strengthen the global competitiveness of its member institutions and support the development of Korea's international healthcare sector through various promotional and collaborative initiatives.
