JK Plastic Surgery Center Secures Fourth Consecutive KAHF Certification

A Unique Record in Domestic Plastic Surgery Center... Certified by the Ministry of Health and Welfare as an Excellent Institution for Attracting Foreign Patients

JK Plastic Surgery Center has announced that it has received its fourth consecutive certification as an "Excellent Institution for Attracting Foreign Patients" from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, making this achievement public on the 21st.

Following its first certification as an "Excellent Institution for Attracting Foreign Patients (KAHF)" in 2017, JK Plastic Surgery Center also achieved this distinction in 2019 and 2021, making it the first and only plastic surgery clinic in Korea to be certified four times in a row. The "Korea Accreditation Program for Hospitals Serving Foreign Patients (KAHF)" is a governmental evaluation and certification system conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare to recognize medical institutions providing superior international medical services to foreign patients.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare's evaluation criteria include approximately 140 detailed items, focusing on △the system for foreign patient specialization (activities and management for attracting foreign patients, interpretation services, prevention of medical disputes, etc.) and △patient safety system (activities to ensure patient treatment and safety; management of pharmaceuticals, infections, facilities, and environment, etc.). The evaluation is particularly stringent in relation to items directly associated with "patient safety", requiring a pass in these crucial areas.

JK Plastic Surgery Center operates a patient-centered process that includes use of a safe surgical system, infection control, and individual air conditioning systems. Catering to foreign patients from over 100 countries including the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Russia and CIS countries, Southeast Asia, and China, JK Plastic Surgery Center has been recognized for its excellence by securing KAHF certification four times in a row, offering tailor-made facilities and services for international patients.
