Samsung Medical Center arranged a special medical team of professors who have various experience in hepatic insufficiency, including Prof Sinn, Dong Hyun, Department of Gastroenterology, and professors of Department of Critical Care Medicine, Nephrology Internal Medicine, Laboratory Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Organ Transplantation. On the 5th day of hospitalization, Noura woke up dramatically. In about a month, her prognosis was good enough for her to be discharged. Prof. Sinn said, “It is rare for a patient to recover liver function only by intensive care without receiving a liver transplant.
