On 7th April, nurses from Hangzhou First People’s Hospital in China had a guided tour of Cheju Halla General Hospital to benchmark a nursing service system. They had a time to promote friendship between two hospitals by request from the Chinese hospital where have had a reciprocal visit after building up a relation of exchange in 2011. The group manager, 李益民(Ri Ui Min) and the other four nurses at Hangzhou First People’s Hospital arrived at Jeju Island on 6th April and the next day they visited the Cheju Halla General Hospital to learn Korean nurse’s system through on-site visits. The following day they toured nurse training courses at Cheju Halla University. After the visit, the group manager, 李益民 said “Korean nurse service system seems to deliver patient-centric, coordinated care well.”
