International patients and their families could have hands-on experiences in various kind of traditional games, traditional food and Hanbok. People from foreign countries who visit Korea for treatment can be difficult to adapt to the new surroundings. By providing this kind of traditional culture experience program, Samsung Medical Center wants to help them better understand Korea. Furthermore, SMC hopes to form close relationships between medical staffs and international patients so that foreigners can have a comfortable stay and treatment. Many international patient found fun through the traditional play, Jegichagi and Tuho and tasted diverse Korean cuisine, Hangwa, Tteok(rice cake), and Yakbap. “It was a first time to wear a Hanbok.
