Seoul National University Hospital Treated Children in Myanmar KIMA logo Seoul National University Hospital Public Health and Medical Team (Head Hee-Jung Kim) announced that they organized a medical service team with 13 medical staff led by Dr. Seok-Hwa Kim M.D. (Pediatric Plastic Surgeon). They flew to Myanmar where greatly needed plastic surgeons for children on 1st February 2016. For five days in Myanmar, they performed surgeries to cure 18 children who were born with facial deformation like cleft lip and palate. This medical service has been supported by Shinhan Bank, Korea since 2015. Dr. Seok-Hwa Kim M.D. as President of Seoul National University children's Hospital, Korea said that 'Our goal for Myanmar is developing its own medical performance so that they could become a medical service provider for Myanmar children.
