Samsung Medical Center Made an MOU with Oasis International Hospital, Beijing KIMA logo On 7th March 2016, Samsung Medical Center, Korea announced that they made an MOU with Oasis International Hospital, Beijing (北京明德醫院, Běijīng Míngdé Yīyuàn) for affiliation. This partnership will allow Win-Win strategy for both medical organizations. Oasis International Hospital, Beijing will have more capacity to treat Korean patients residing in China. On the other hand, Samsung Medical center plans to see Chinese patients diagnosed with cancer or cardio-cerebrovascular diseases, who generally need advanced nursing care and surgical treatment. Furthermore, a new cooperative model could be created if Oasis International Hospital, Beijing takes follow-up procedures for Chinese patients who already have initial treatment in Samsung Medical Center, Korea. Also, both hospitals make multiple plans for mutual development including clinical training sessions and educational conferences. Oasis International Hospital has facility with 60 inpatient beds and 24/7 emergency care, where is a small and medium sized hospital in China but it has powerful functions for international patients. Its staff are multilingual and its doctors are internationally trained.
