Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital Cooperated with Ghana KIMA logo Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital initiated a medical training course for foreigners, '2015 Lee Jong-wook Fellowship Program, Clinical Course' in January 2016, which was created for inheriting the spirit of Dr. Lee Jong-wook, the former director-general of the World Health Organization. This made some developing countries enhance their health and medical environment. A group of educators from Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital visited the Ridge Regional Hospital where is located in Accra, Ghana from January 17th to January 24th. The team was led by Professor Seung-Wan Paik of the PNUYH International Clinic, Professor Soon-Hui Hwang from General Surgery, and Assistant Administrator Tae-Yeon Kim from the International Clinic. They met Dr. Nyabenda-Gomwa Adoula and Dr. Victor Winbe Abugri who took series of medical trainings in Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital and performed the activities like a healthcare research, an actual work-site examination, observation on surgeries, and academic seminars.
