Chonnam National University Hospital has achieved admirable results out of the subsequent patient management in Manikhel, Nepal, where was hit by big earthquake in May 2015. To deal with the disastrous situation, Chonnam National University Hospital made an agreement with a Nepali NGO in August 2015 and supported the Manikhel Hospital with medical equipment and personnel expenses. Hospital Director of CNUH, Taek-Rim Yoon and Director-General Tak-Heo visited the site on January 23th 2016. While staying there, they discussed future plans as well as inspected result of work. What made their visit special was that the Manikhel Hospital held a signboard hanging ceremony with a great celebration from a hundred of people. A Minister of Rural Development said that 'I thank Chonnam National University Hospital again and again for their continuous supports since the big earthquake. Nepali people here were greatly touched by their concerns and help.'
