Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital (CEO & President Yong-Beom Cho) made an MOU with Kyrgyzstan President Hospital for expanding cooperative exchange in November 2015.. Both of them planned to step up their bilateral co-operation on various fields like medical education, treatment, and biomedical research. Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital has been building international networks with several countries located in Central Asia like Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, and Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan is closely located near Kazakhstan in North border and Uzbekistan meets the west border of Kyrgyzstan. Recently, Kyrgyzstan was greatly influenced by Korean Wave and Korean industrialization model.
