On 13 November 2015, Korea University Anam Hospital announced that orthopedic surgeon Si-Young Park, endocrine surgeon Seung-Pil Jeong, and its international treatment team visited ADNOC Ruwais Hospital and met local patients, which let them know Korean excellent medical skills. The purpose of this visit was increasing UAE people's interest in Korean medical technology. The surgeons opened a free medical consultation and promoted Korean medicine supported by Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare, Diplomatic Service, Korea Health Industry Development Institute, Embassy of the Republic of Korea to United Arab Emirates. Professor Si-Young Park and Professor Seung-Pil Jeong met all the booked patients while they were staying in UAE. They identified a number of patients who were very in need for disc hernia and breast cancer. They will fly to Korea University Anam Hospital to have them operated.
