Since Ewha Womans University Medical Center made an agreement with Association of Korean Residents in Uzbekistan, it spurred the development of Uzbekistan Medical Market. This agreement let Ewha Womans University Medical Center become a designated medical organization for the members of Association of Korean Residents in Uzbekistan. Prompt and advanced medical treatment is being offered to the residents. Also, Ewha Womans University Medical Center gained chances to promote itself in the periodical journals Association of Korean Residents in Uzbekistan publishes. Before this agreement, Ewha Womans University Medical Center visited Shox Medical Center located in Tashkent in last April and made a letter of intent to cooperate. Also, since last August, a medical volunteer team led by orthopedic surgeon Shin, Sang-Jin has visited Uzbekistan and carried out free health check-up, treatment, and special lecture series.
