Ministry of Health and Welfare and Korea Health Industry Development Institute have announced that they held Korean Visiting Physicians Campaign between September 30 and October 5 in UAE. This promotion was triggered by The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company's request based on the MOU agreed between KHIDI and ADNOC. For this event, numbers of related medical institutes have organized teams of doctors from orthopedics, OB/GY, and neurosurgery and they were sent to the local hospitals in UAE. The Korean doctors directly communicated with the UAE doctors to take care of the patients. 12 hospitals in Korea took part in this cooperative treatment. (Seoul National University Hospital, Samsung Medical Center, Seoul St.Mary's Hospital, Severance Hospital, Sun Medical Center, Gangnam Cha Hospital, MizMedi Women's Hospital, Bobath Memorial Hospital, Kyung Hee University Hospital at Gangdong, Wooridul Hospital, Korea University Anam Hospital) An officer from KHIDI expressed 'this promotion let Korea express its excellence of Korean medicine and gain higher credibility from the Middle East.'
