On 19th September, Severance Children's Hospital and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia opened the 6th International Symposium to discuss children's epilepsy treatment. Groups of specialists from Korea and overseas gathered to talk about multiple approaches like surgery and diet to cure Pediatric epilepsy. On this day, one of the world's greatest scholars, Professor Robert Clancy from CHOP gave a presentation about the newest treatment to pediatric intractable epilepsy. A team of Professor Christina Bergqvist, CHOP and Professor Heung-dong Kim, Severance Children's Hospital gave a lecture on diet method for pediatric epilepsy. Professor Dong-Seok Kim, Severance Children's Hospital, participated in a discussion section to share his experience on surgical approach to pediatric epilepsy. President of Severance Children's Hospital showed a great expectation that this will help these excellent doctors step up the treatment for pediatric intractable epilepsy.
