According to 'Report on Foreign Patients In 2014 Korea ' released by Ministry of Health and Welfare and Korea Health Industry Development Institute , It was around 36 thousand who have visited Korea for health checkup in 2014. Interestingly, it was found that each nation clearly shows different preference between Korean health checkup centers. Russian patients, the largest number of visitors to Korea, preferred Hanyang University Hospital to others. Chinese patients liked Asan Medical Center the most in 2014. For Americans, Samsung Medical Center was the most preferred place last year. The top five nations from which international patients came last year for health checkup were Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Canada. Although it was Russia who showed the biggest visitors to Korea last year, it was Kazakhstan patients who spent the most money for health checkup.
