Seoul St.Mary's Hospital and Shanghai Ruijin Hospital signed a memorandum of understanding on Telemedicine which drew strong opposition from Korean medical community. It sounds like that this is going to be a very near concern of them. On 4th of September, the Minister of Health and Welfare announced that a health management model for chronic diseases will be established by using the smart healthcare system between Seoul St.Mary's Hospital and Shanghai Ruijin Hospital. Because of less number of doctors compared the OECD’s and unequal distribution of health care resources, it is expected very positive on the model as Chinese medicine market showed high potential for development through telemedicine services.
