Sejong General Hospital won the grand prize for medical tourism at the 2nd eDaily Global Healthcare Awards in 63 City Convention Center, Yeouido on 1st September. The eDaily Global Healthcare Awards is held in order to select competitive healthcare institutes and present awards for them. Not only eDaily sponsors this prize-giving, but also Ministry of Health and Welfare, Health and Welfare Committee, and Korea Small&Medium Hospital Association support it. Jinsik Park, president of the Sejong General Hospital, said about 12 thousand of international patients have visited their international healthcare center since 2009. Also, all of the staff in Sejong will do their best to offer the best medical service by invigorating medical tourism.
