'Visited Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital(CNUHH), full recovery on cervical vertebral nerve tumor-inquiry about bladder surgery'
'Visited Korea for coverage on Gwangju Universiade tournament. It is very impressive to see energetic passion image of Gwangju. I came back to Korea again to get re-examination.
Professional Sport Journalist and photographer Michael Chekurov from Kazakhstan visited Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital (Director of hospital, Yongbum Cho).
He visited gastrointestinal internal medicine, because he sometimes feel stomach and was afraid of gallstone and bladder. He was surprised over controlled tense environment in a hospital due to MERS.
The hospital guided him to blood test and CT scan. Also they decided to scrutinize the parts where he got his surgery 2 years ago.
First he didn't trust Korean medical standard, but now he feels very relieved due to natural environment around the hospital, the state of the art technology and kind medical services.
He said 'In the past, I believed that U.S medical practice is the best in the world and Korea is far in the back, but I found out that it was totally wrong.'
he smiled and said 'Whenever I get an opportunity to visit Korea, I would like to come to Hwasun and get a treatment' and 'medical standard in Kazakhstan is very low; therefore, I am very interested in Korea. I am advertising my treatment experience to my neighbors.'
He greeted to every medical team member, who he received an exceptional assistance two years ago. He wished further improvement on Korean medical treatment and a success of Gwangju U tournament.
