Wellton Hospital announced its international exchange programs with leading general hospitals in Beijing, China.
The medical staff at Wellton hospital arranged various programs such as seminars, conferences, and presented analyses on local patients on the “minimally invasive joint replacement surgery that leaves muscle-tendons intact” at Peking University First Hospital and the Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital. They also visited the Peking University International Hospital, the biggest general hospital with 1,800 beds which was founded last year.
Through these academic exchange programs, Wellton Hospital and the local hospitals agreed to cooperate in future via joint research, transfer of medical systems and the training of medical staff. The partnerships will embark with training sessions for the medical staff, scheduled in the second half of this year.
Wellton Hospital, famous for its minimally invasive joint replacement surgery, has been designated as the International Arthoplasty Learning Center. Five medical staff from the Philippines, Kazakhstan and China received training from Wellton Hospital this year. Medical professionals from China and the Philippines are currently going through their training.
