He was given a tour of the facilities for brewing herbal medicine and commented, “I was surprised at the size of the facilities. The process can be compared to the pharmaceutical manufacturing process in its accuracy.” In the afternoon, Dr. Sánchez visited the newly renovated Jamsil Branch of Jaseng Hospital with Dr. Joon-shik Shin and examined Jaseng’s medical process which involves using high-tech imaging medical equipments such as MRIs for diagnosis and treating spine pains with Korean medicine treatments. After finishing the tour, Dr. Sánchez added that, “The Jaseng Hospital is the most systemized and scientific hospital specializing in alternative medicine that I have ever seen.” Photo: Dr. Sánchez from the Hospital General Agustín O'Horán and a Professor from the State University of Michigan are looking at Dr. Joon-shik Shin’s demonstration Afterwards, Dr. Joon-shik Shin demonstrated the treatments for a patient with herniated disks including Chuna manipulation, motion style acupuncture and acupuncture. I am eager to implement Jaseng’s treatments at Mexico.” The Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine has previously given a lecture on the motion style acupuncture treatment (MSAT) and the Korean medicinal treatment using “sinbarometin,” which is effective in treating spine disorders to 150 staff members of the Hospital General Agustín O'Horán last September, thanks to the arrangement made by Michigan State University.
