Invited at the event as a representative of Korea, Dr. Lee gave a thorough presentation on the history, know-how and progress of spinal surgery in Korea, which is now a central field in medical tourism. Distinguished medical professionals from leading Asian hospitals participated in this conference including Shigemi Kitahara, President of Japan’s Kitahara International Hospital, Hong Fung, the executive director of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Medical Centre, Su Lin Chong, the managing director of the Prince Court Medical Center and Ming-Tsan Lin, the vice superintendent of the National Taiwan University Hospital.
