Daechan Hospital is accelerating the expansion of its global medical network by establishing and officially launching a joint clinic in collaboration with Saint Paul Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam. This initiative is drawing significant attention as a model of international cooperation that goes beyond simple medical exchange, directly implementing advanced Korean medical systems into the local healthcare environment.

Following its establishment inside Saint Paul Hospital last year, the joint clinic has entered full-scale operation this year. Since its opening, the clinic has been operating smoothly amid high local interest. Its patient-centered care and systematic "one-stop" treatment process—covering everything from admission to discharge within a single day—have received highly positive feedback from local patients.
Dr. Sang-ho Han, Chief Representative of Daechan Hospital, visits Hanoi, Vietnam, every month to conduct joint consultations with local medical staff. He has established a collaborative care system to analyze patient conditions and determine optimal treatment paths together. This approach not only ensures highly specialized and trustworthy medical services but also solidifies practical cooperation with Vietnamese medical professionals. Notably, the family of the Qatari Ambassador to Vietnam (Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel) recently underwent successful surgery at the clinic and is currently recovering, further elevating Daechan Hospital's medical capabilities and international credibility.
This joint medical initiative holds profound significance beyond mere international patient attraction. Daechan Hospital has long built solid trust with local medical institutions through various activities, including participating in Korea-Vietnam healthcare cooperation events, conducting live surgery demonstrations, attending international medical cooperation meetings, and hosting training and academic exchanges for medical staff. The operation of this joint clinic is evaluated as a successful case where academic and cultural exchange has successfully expanded into actual clinical service delivery.
"This joint clinic is not just about expanding overseas; it is a process of mutual growth achieved by sharing our medical experiences and technologies," said Chief Representative Sang-ho Han. "We will continue our efforts to provide high-quality medical services to local patients through continuous medical exchange and cooperation."
He added, "We hope that Daechan Hospital's medical technologies and clinical experience will contribute to improving the quality of life for local patients. We remain committed to further expanding international medical cooperation to build a robust global healthcare network."
