The Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, SK Telecom and ezCaretech consortium, named 'Best Care Consortium', successfully exported the Korean integrated hospital information system in the US as well as the Middle East. Through this contract, they made a new history in domestic exports of medical software.
The hospital information system that the consortium contracted with the Aurora Group in the US is “Best Care 2.0B”. It is a new hospital information system developed to meet the needs of the United States, reflecting the US medical regulations and user requirements, with 20 development team members consisting of doctors, nurses and software developers. Considering the characteristics of psychiatry, it has added modules and functions specialized in dictation, group therapy, etc. Also, it has been implemented essential electronic prescription in the US, although it is not allowed in Korea.
