They discussed cooperative projects on treatment and management of severe chronic illnesses (cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular system, and organ transplant), as well as sending severe patients, training medical staffs, and so on. H.E. Jamal Al Harbi, the Minister of Health in Kuwait, and the delegation experienced facilities and services of St. Mary’s Hospital by visiting the 21st floor VIP ward, which is an designated ward for Arab patients, BMT ward, International Medical Center, etc.Ki-Bae Seung, president of Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, introduced the hospital which has state-of-the-art medical technology and equipment, and said, “I look forward to a developmental relationship with Kuwait through exchange of advanced medical technology.”The minister reciprocated, “The Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital has an excellent medical staff and medical technology, and we have heard a lot about the outstanding medical staff training program of the hospital.
