In 2015, Asan Medical Center got 15,000 foreign patients. This is 91% increase to compare with 4 years ago. Seeing in each country, The largest pie was American, 25.1%, and the second was Chinese as 16.4%. And Kazakhs, Arabic patients were rapidly increased. Arabic patients was 18 in 2011, then 1464 in 2015. Kazakhs patients was 111 to 1726. Saudi Arabian patients was 63 to 572. The phenomenon was due to Asan Medical Center's reputation that they saved many patients who were abandoned from American and Japanese hospitals.The patient of Abu Dhabi who classified 'high risk transplant rejection patient' was renounced by American hospital. But Asan was performed a surgery and succeed. And that was the start.Foreign patient has to consider a lot of things the minute when they entered. Such as diagnosis, hospitalization, and so on. So since 1989, Asan has developed one time concierge service from transportation to medical administration. And this became today's Medical K-Wave.
