Seoul St. Mary's Hospital(President, Ki-Bae Seung) has unveiled a new generation of robotic equipment, the Da Vinci Xi surgical robot. The longer and thicker robot arms with four-quadrant feature are optimized for the removal a complex and deep lesion and it is also more versatile system that the surgeon has covered the wider surgical area without moving the robotic hands. With an improved 3D view, the operating surgeon can check the patient’s body more precisely in high definition. This newest robot facilitates careful cancer surgery what lymph nodes need to be extracted, difficult and complex minimally invasive surgery and so on. The Da Vinci Xi will allow the medical team to provide improved surgical performance and it will have repercussions on patient safety.
