Korea University Medical Center accelerates Healthcare Cooperation with Uzbekistan On 19 February, a group of officials including Vice-minister of Uzbekistan Ministry of Health Laziz Tuychiev and Ambassador Shakzod Kurbanov of Uzbek Embassy in Korea visited  Korea University Medical Center. Their purpose to visit Korea University Medical Center was to discuss cooperative plans for extensive healthcare projects like building a children's hospital and a cutting-edge general hospital in Uzbekistan. Moreover, the visitors asked Korea University Medical Center for hospital management consulting and clinical education for Uzbekistan medical staff. Vice-minister of Uzbekistan Ministry of Health Laziz Tuychiev said that 'Since President Park Geun-hye and Uzbekistan President agreed to expand cooperation in health care, Uzbekistan has been looking forward to extensive supports from South Korea.
