Wonkwang Univ. Hospital in Iksan Will Join Fostering Medical Tourism in Iksan

Even MERS-coV greatly hit Korean medical industry a month ago Wonkwang Univ. Hospital in Iksan overcame it by Wonkwang's own culture, harmony and solicitude. Since Dr. Choi, Do-Young, the very first CEO and President graduated from Wonkwang University Medical School, operated Wonkwang Univ. Hospital, all 1,467 staff have gained good reputation from residents in Iksan. Besides, President Choi announced that his main goal for Wonkwang and citizens was making trust by keeping patient-oriented attitude. Furthermore, he will focus on improving medical tourism in Iksan by joining MOU with Korean-American Community and building a close cooperation with Mongolian Department of Health. Wonkwang Univ. Hospital has already achieved one billion won in 2010 to attract international patients.
