On 24 July, President Byung-Hee, Oh of Seoul National Univ. Hospital won National Magnolia Medal.
His achievements are followings.
Prof. Oh was appointed as 16th President to run Seoul National University Hospital in 2013. Since then, he extraordinarily focused on educating and training excellent medical staff.
In September, 2014, he built an education and tainting center to foster the younger generation of medical staff in Mungyeong City, Kyeongsangbuk-do, Korea. Also, he run medical education programs and globalized health care system to secure excellent local staff in Sheikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital in UAE.
Even to Saudi Arabia, he contributed to the IT and education field by establishing Hospital Information System (HIS). Furthermore, he carried forward the SNUH international medical training programs for 220 medical staff from 38 different countries in 2014.
