Dr. Sung-Bum Kang is a professor, Department of Surgery, Seoul National University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea. He graduated from and won the degree of master and Ph. D at the Seoul National University College of Medicine. He completed residencies of general surgery and fellowship of colorectal surgery at the Seoul National University Hospital. His clinical interests are rectal cancer, laparoscopic colorectal surgery, function-preserving procedures for rectal cancer, and fecal incontinence surgery. Currently he has been studying about the innervation of denervated muscle and tissue engineered muscle. Until recently, his international publication is beyond 150 including articles published in Lancet Oncology and Lancet Regional Health - Western Pacific.
