Samsung Medical Center ‘Korea’s No. 1’ Cancer Hospital / Ranked as World’s Best Smart Hospitals KIMA logo  On September 14, Samsung Medical Center (SMC) (President Park, Seung Woo) was selected as the No. 1 hospital in Korea for the second consecutive year and No. 30 in the world in the <World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2023> which was published online and offline by Newsweek, an American weekly journal on current global affairs.Additionally, in <World's Best Specialized Hospitals> published on the same day, SMC’s Cancer Hospital was ranked first in Korea and sixth in the world, objectively recognized as the best in Korea in the field of cancer treatment. Furthermore, it entered the top 100 in the world in a total of 8 clinical fields.The survey consisted of five categories including: electronic functionalities, telemedicine, digital imaging, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
