Noticing this trend, Vinmec International Hospital has endeavored to work together with SNUH Gangnam Center to improve its screening programs and lead preventive medicine in Vietnam. It has expressed especially keen interest in the smart screening system and premium patient management service. Vinmec International Hospital expressed its intent to continue its efforts to meet advanced international standards and pursue globalization by working closely with SNUH Gangnam Center, known to offer specialized health examination services.SNUH President Kim Yeon-soo said, “Through the exceptional level of healthcare services and health screening capabilities of SNUH Gangnam Center, I expect that Vinmec International Hospital Health Screening Center will be able to emerge as the foremost health screening center in Vietnam.” Park Kyung-woo, Director of SNUH Gangnam Center, said, “We will equip [Vinmec International Hospital] with advanced screening services by applying appropriate customer service, a screening program recommendation algorithm, testing protocols, post-screening management, and more, based on the expertise and experience that we have gained over a long period of time. By doing so, we will contribute to promoting the health of the people of Vietnam and Korean residents.” Park Noh-wan, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam who attended the MOU ceremony, delivered a congratulatory speech saying, “The Korean community in Vietnam is very excited about the news that the high-quality health screening services provided by SNUH Gangnam Center will now be available in Vietnam. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Korea and Vietnam, and I look forward to seeing Seoul National University Hospital play a central role in collaborative projects between the two countries in various medical fields.” Gangnam Center is a health screening center operated by SNUH that has expanded overseas, systematizing its expertise to establish and operate screening centers. It played a pivotal role in the establishment and operation of the largest health examination center in Yanji by the Yanji Chinese Medicine Center in 2013.
