South Korea COVID-19 medical equipment and diagnostic test kits were provided free of charge in Almaty, Kazakhstan, to help establish a Drive-through testing Center. 1,125 sets of medical equipment such as protective equipment for doctors, nurses, and hospital medical workers, and Seegene's diagnostic test equipment capable of 270,000 tests were delivered as air cargo with cooperated by South Korea's Medical Partners Korea corporation (MPK), the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), and the Korean International Medical Association.The Akimat of Almaty district announced that the South Korean government has sent medical personal protective equipment and diagnostic equipment within the humanitarian aid system, trying to stop the spread of the Coronavirus in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where medical staff is highly infected. In this regard, Kazakhstan's President Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev visited the Drive-through testing Center in Almaty and shared an SNS post to support local medical staff and express his gratitude for Korea's support.
