Nanoori Hospital, strengthening its reputation as the ‘research institute’ with consistent academic performance

Nanoori Hospital has recorded 134 academic achievements in 2018. The total number of published papers reached 40, a 48% increase compared to last year. 25 of them were published in the SCI(E) Journal, which is 10 more than the last year’s 15.

This year, Nanoori Hospital developed ‘My Research Note’to assist research activities of the medical staff. My Search Note is the first academic research platform developed by a specialized hospital to provide every function necessary for writing research papers.

Nanoori Hospital is actively transferring spinal treatment know-how through its own international medical training programs.

International exchange programs with foreign medical staff are active too. Nanoori Hospital is transferring the latest spinal treatment technology and experience through ‘Nabi International Program’a long-term training program for foreign medical staff and ‘Nabi International Fellowship’a short-term training program. 24 doctors from 10 countries have taken part in each program of Nanoori Hospital this year.

Professor Osama Kashlan M.D. of the University of Michigan received a month-long spine endoscopy training in Nanoori Hospital through the short-term program. Nanoori Hospital also administered an education program for medical doctors from India, Nigeria, and China for being selected as the only spine specialized hospital of‘2018 Medical Korea Academy.’
