On 18th January, Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital announced that it organized a medical volunteer team, 'YES (Yangsan Empathy Service) Medical Volunteer Group' as the initial volunteer corp. in 2016. Since it was created the very first in April 2009, 1,987 people took health checkup programs. Also, the team was sent to Myanmar in 2013 and Haiti, 3 times in total. Thanks to the international medical volunteer activities, 6,454 patients were helped greatly. In order to carry these international medical volunteer, it has set up a cooperative relationship with George Washington University, Clinton Global Initiative and SAE-A Group.
