Cheongshim International Medical Center (CIMC) was founded in 2003 as one of the first projects of holding company Cheongshim Ltd.
The Center is located in environmentally clean area some 40 km east of Seoul. CIMC was one of the first South Korean hospitals to systematically attract foreign patients for treatment.
For its contribution in the field of international medical tourism the Center received an award from the Ministry of Health and Public Welfare of the Republic of Korea. Cheongshim has 15 medical departments with facilities for outpatient treatment and inpatient ward for 200 beds. Cheongshim incorporates in its system both Western and Oriental branches of medicine.
CIMC also uses so called < > for several procedures that are in demand with foreign patients and offers discounts for certain categories of patients. These include, for example, packages for hip and knee replacement, packages or post-stroke rehabilitation as well as discounts for cancer patients coming to Korea regularly for chemotherapy.
